i would like to write about
Mental Health and shares my experience with you. Firstly, i would like to let
you guys know that I’m diagnosed with Depression and a minor-moderate
schizophrenia when i was 14 years old. It’s kind of uncommon in psychiatric
world for a 14 years old like me to have schizophrenia. Mostly, it happens to
adult and student of university/college as I’ve been told by my psychiatrist.
But the things is, everything can happens and nothing is impossible right?
Growing up with a depression and schizophrenia was very tough and exhausted. It
was a very big struggle to me and my family back in the days. There’s a time
where i can’t do any single things and work just because I’m affected so bad by
my sickness. There’s a time where i feel that i have no faith in myself, my
life and everyone around me. The feeling of suicidal and self harming will
always come into my mind days and night. Having this sickness is a big
nightmare to me. Because people can’t see this mental illness, I’m the only one
that feel and experience it. Just because they didn’t see it doesn’t mean it’s
not there. Some people can’t understand me. They keep telling me to be
positive, asking me to change my mindset, keep telling me to try, try, try and
they told me that every single damn time and it wasn’t even helpful. Also, I
actually did encountered this stupid people that saying I’m acting just for an
attention. It’s very idiotic right?
The reason why I had
depression and schizophrenia is because i was bullied mentally and emotionally
when i was 12-15 years old. That is the major factor that contributed to my
depression. There’s other factor too that contributed to it such as lack of
love and attention from the beloved one, no one to count and trust on and other
personal things that I can’t share here publicly. But thank god, that now i
feel a lot better than before and could manage and cope with my sickness. I
wish that my mental health could stay in this condition forever. It do takes
time to recover fully. You need to take medication, therapy and counseling
session if you need to. Do take care of your health seriously.
Mental Illness happens
when chemical in our brains is imbalance. This people need to take a medication
to balance the chemicals in their brains. Telling them to be positive, keep
trying and all other bullshit isn’t even helping them to cope with their
depression, anxiety etcetera. This could gave them pressure and could make them
feel bad about themselves. There’s a certain and appropriate ways to take care
of them and help them to be a better person and make them feels more better
about themselves. They could need to cope with it for a lifetime. Show some
love and support and don’t ever think that they’re weird and crazy. It could
hurts their feeling deeply and make them feel bad about themselves. Mental
illness is important like any other sickness. Read more about it online if you
want to avoid it from happening to you. Learn everything that could make you
stronger for yourself and you mental health!
